Grab a Coffee and a bite to eat and join us at the RV Touring Hub for some valuable insights on travelling the open road. Daily presentations from Hema Maps, Workabout Australia, RACQ and Drive Queensland will arm you with tips and valuable information to confidently explore the vast expanses of the great state of Queensland and beyond!  Information on a range of ideas will be shared including destination ideas, sharing the road with trucks and how to earn an income while on the road.

Having travelled on the road full time for over five years now, Paul, Katie and Jasper from The Feel-Good Family will also be on hand to provide you with the in’s and out’s of “Road Tripping” to ensure your next trip is enjoyable and hassle-free!

Prepared to Explore Australia’s Great Desert Tracks with Hema Maps Everything you need to know about touring regional and remote Australia.

Adventurers & 4×4 enthusiasts, conducted by Justin from Hema Maps, this presentation takes you on our recent 3000km trip through the majestic Simpson Desert. Traversing the Simpson Desert is no easy feat and takes plenty of preparation and understanding of the journey ahead. Join us on the expedition as Hema’s iconic LC76 Map Patrol tackles this bucket-list destination and ask those important questions including: Vehicle set-up, Communication, Fuel Usage, Water, Permits, Do’s and Don’ts to safely navigate this journey.


Warren, Workabout Australia

Workabout Australia has been Australia’s foremost employment solution for travelling workers since the publication of the first edition of the Workabout Australia book in 1996. Originally featuring 78 locations it is an indication of the growth of Workabout Australia that the eighth edition published in March 2011 covers some 200 locations in all Australian states and territories.

The Workabout Australia Club was established in late 2000 as a means of keeping members up to date with employment opportunities throughout Australia.
