Miriam & Chris (ADU) have been exploring Australia together for over 14 years—starting with weekends away in a camper trailer with the kids and moving through just about every setup you can imagine. After 11 years of part-time travel, they hit the road full-time as empty nesters and haven’t looked back. Now in their fifth year of full-time life on the road, they’re travelling in their custom-built Sunland LTD caravan & Chevy Silverado Super Tourer, working remotely as content creators, and sharing the highs, lows & hilarious in-betweens through their online platforms Aussie Destinations Unknown.

I kicked this thing off with a simple idea: get out there, explore Australia, and inspire others to have a crack at some wild adventures. It all started with a passion for 4WDing, camping, and fishing — and an undying need to escape the daily grind.

What began as a few trips with a camera turned into The Explore Life — a brand built around real adventures, good mates, and pushing the limits of overland travel. Over the years, we’ve grown a crew of like-minded legends, built some wild vehicles, and explored some of the most remote places this country — and beyond — has to offer.
