Brisbane Showgrounds

There’s no better place to help start plan your next great adventure than at the Let’s Go Queensland Caravan & Camping Supershow. Whether you were looking at purchasing a recreational vehicle or just looking for that last minute accessory before you start your getaway, this event will have it all and more. There will be over 900 Recreational Vehicles and over 200+ exhibitors on display at this years event held at Brisbane Showgrounds.

This massive 5-day event, held at the iconic Brisbane Showgrounds, will showcase all the latest Outdoor Lifestyle Products, including Caravans, Camper Trailers, Motorhomes, Tent Trailers, Campervans, 5th Wheelers and Recreational Vehicle Accessories. There will also be a vast range of 4×4’s & Tow Vehicles, 4×4 equipment, touring information & more. Most of the major brands of camper trailers, caravans, slide-ons campers, fifth wheelers and motorhomes will be there to exhibit at the event.

This event covers the entire Brisbane showgrounds and is one of the few events to close off Gregory Terrace. We also use parts of the new Pavilion Carpark as exhibitor space.

If you never been to the event at the Brisbane Showgrounds, it can be very daunting as the event is massive and covers over 40,000 sqm and there isn’t really any other related events of this size in Queensland! For those who have been to the Brisbane Showgrounds, it is very comparable size wise to the annual EKKA event!

Gregory Terrace + King Street

The Let’s Go Queensland Caravan & Camping Supershow is one of the very few events held at the Brisbane Showgrounds that closes Gregory Terrace (a road open to traffic during normal operations) during the event. This stretch of road will be home to countless exhibitors from camper trailers to accessories and more and stretches as far as the eye can see.

When walking on Gregory Terrace, the buildings you will come across are:

  • Building 1
  • Royal ICC Building
  • Building 16
  • Building 8
  • Expo Place

Nearby to Gregory Terrace is King Street which is also home a number of exhibitors and has access to the ‘King Street’ food area and the Rydges Hotel.

Royal I.C.C Building

Located near Gregory Terrace is the Royal International Convention Centre Building (R.I.C.C Building). This massive building will house to multiple exhibitors during the Supershow. A number of food outlets will be operating there including coffee, hot food and healthy foods such as wraps and rolls available during the event. There is also to the upper floor via lifts and escalators.

The lower level of the building usually is a carpark during non event days, however it is the location of many exhibitors including caravans, clubs/organisations and other exhibitors.

The upper level of this building will be home to a large number of Motorhomes/Campervans exhibitors and is the new home of Tourism, Holiday Parks and Holiday destination exhibitors.

An information desk  will be located on the lower level of the building.

Baby changing facilities and disability toilets are also available in the building.

Visitor’s Tip: Closest entrance is Gate 1

Ekka Plaza

Located just outside of the Royal I.C.C Building is Ekka Plaza. This open space is home to a number of exhibitors showcasing the latest and greatest models of recreational vehicles. This area is will be home to a number of accessories exhibitors and Caravan exhibitors.

This area is wheelchair friendly and is accessible via ramps.

Exhibition Building (Building 1)

Located adjacement to the Royal I.C.C Building and next to Rydges Hotel is Building 1. This building is completely undercover and is house to several exhibitors during the Supershow.

This building will also have toilets.
Access to the building is wheelchair friendly via a ramp.

Visitors’ tip: Closest Entrance gate is Gate 1

John Reid Pavilion (Building 16)

Located next to the Welcome to Bowen Hills precinct is Building 16 or as it is sometimes referred to the ‘John Reid Pavillion’. This completely under covered building is housed to a number of exhibitors.

This building is also wheelchair friendly with ramp access into the building via Gregory Terrace.

Located just behind Building 16 is the Ekka Emporium which utilises the bottom level of the King Street Carparking as more exhibitor space! This is one of very few events to use this area for exhibitor space. Don’t miss this area when you at at the Let’s Go Queensland Caravan & Camping Supershow. This is where the Weight and Towing Masterclasses will be held each day!

Look for the ‘John Reid Pavilion’ signage which is located on the outside of the building.

Visitor Tip: The closest entrance gate will be Gate 2 via Alexandria Street.

Building 8 & Alexandria Street

Located next to Building 16 is Building 8 & Alexandria Street. Completed from a renovation, this large undercover area is house to several accessories exhibitors and is conveniently located next to Gregory Terrace.

This area is wheelchair accessible via ramps.

Visitor’s Tip: look for the Number 8 on the building from when walking down Gregory Terrace. 

Expo Place

Fresh from renovations, Expo place is back in the Let’s Go Queensland Caravan & Camping Supershow agenda.

This undercovered area will be home to a number of exhibitors.

Main Area

The Main Area is a large area outdoors surrounded by countless number of seating. This area will be home to largely camper trailer exhibitors and will also be homed to a number of accessories exhibitors. Access is via various means including from the train arrivals platform, Gregory Terrace, and Ekka Plaza.

Access to the Main Arena is wheelchair friendly with wheelchair accessible ramp.

Visitor’s Tip: This area is also great for resting your legs during your visit as there is large seating area which is undercover!

Alexandria Park

Located behind Building 8 is Alexandria Park.

There will be a number of food outlets in this area as well as a few exhibitors showcasing the latest and greatest in RVs.

This area is wheelchair accessible.

Visitor’s Tip: Access is via Gate 2.  


Brisbane Showgrounds Train Station

Located in heart of the Brisbane Showgrounds is the Brisbane Showgrounds train station which is currently not in use for the 2024 Let’s Go Queensland Caravan & Camping Supershow. The Brisbane Showgrounds train station is currently being redeveloped as a part of the Cross River Rail project.

This train station runs straight through the middle of the event precinct.

Visitor’s Tip: If you reach the Train line, then make sure to check what’s on the other side of it.


Sideshow Alley – Marquee 1

Located north of the Train line is Sideshow Alley. This large area will be home to countless numbers of RV products including caravans, Camper trailers, Motorhomes, accessories and much much more!

Within Sideshow Alley is Marquee 1. This undercover area is over 5,500m2 in sizing and will be home to a number of Caravans, Motorhomes, Campervans, Camper Trailers and Accessories. Whether you are looking for a budget friendly camper trailer to a luxury motorhome, that area has it all and more!

These areas are wheelchair accessible.

Visitors’ tip: Closest Entrance gate is Gate 5 on O’Connell Terrace or Gate 6 Bowen Bridge Road.

Sideshow Alley – Marquee 2

Marquee 2, also located in Sideshow Alley, is a smaller undercover area compared to Marquee 1 however it will also be home to a number of exhibitors during the Supershow.

The Pavilion Carpark and Surroundings

Located in Sideshow Alley, The Pavilion building is usually a multi-storey carpark on non-event days however during the Let’s Go Queensland Caravan & Camping Supershow the bottom floor of the carpark is home to a number of exhibitors including:

  • Parts and Accessories
  • Caravans
  • 12v products
  • many many more.

Again this event is one of very few events to utilise the bottom carpark level as exhibitor space making the biggest caravanning and camping event in Queensland!

This area is wheelchair accessible.
