Parking Options

There are over 2000 alternative car parks situated within a short distance of the Brisbane Showgrounds. Please see below for a list of parking options within walking distance to the showgrounds.

RNA Pavilion Carpark:  Multi-level Carpark, Access via O’Connell Terrace (Gate 5) cashless payment only, more information: https://www.brisbaneshowgrounds.com.au/exhibitors/directions-parking/. Cashless payment only.

Royal ICC Building Carpark: Underground Parking. Access via via Gregory Terrace (Costin Street end). No Trailer or Oversized vehicles.

RNA Marquee 1, Marquee 2 & Surroundings: Open and undercovered parking area, access via O’Connell Terrace, no height restrictions, pricing: $20 Flat Rate (trailer may be extra) and cashless payment only.

King Street Parking: Multi-level Carpark, access via King Street, 2.2m height restrictions, cashless payment only, more information: https://www.kingstreetbrisbane.com/parking

Secure Park Valley Metro: Located above Brunswick Street Station, enter from Alfred or Alden Street, Fortitude Valley. It is a short 5 minute walk to the Showgrounds (via St Pauls Terrace).

Conditions of parking for this event

Whilst in the grounds –

  1. No vehicle may display signage offering any recreational vehicle for sale
  2. No vehicle may display any signage disparaging to any product, person or thing
  3. No person may display, distribute or communicate material disparaging in any way to any product, person or thing
  4. The conduct of all persons shall be in keeping with the orderly conduct of the car park.

These conditions shall be understood in conjunction with the bylaws of the owners of the grounds.

Getting to Brisbane Showgrounds by Car 

Brisbane Showgrounds is located 3.2km north east of Brisbane’s CBD on Gregory Terrace at Bowen Hills. It is a 20-minute drive from the airport or 10 minutes from the CBD.

If using GPS, the best address is 41 O’Connell Terrace, Bowen Hills.

PLEASE NOTE: GREGORY TERRACE, BOWEN HILLS IS CLOSED BETWEEN COSTIN STREET AND EXHIBITION STREET FOR THE EVENT

Driving from the South (eg Logan, Gold Coast, NSW) to O’Connell Terrace.

Option 1: Proceed onto the Pacific Motorway/M1 following the signs north to Brisbane. Follow Pacific Motorway and M3 to Gilchrist Avenue in Herston. Take the Herston Road exit from M3. Stay on the left lane, follow the slip road which leads onto Bowen Bridge Road. Turn right at the third set of traffic lights onto Campbell Street and follow the road around till you get to the T-intersection. Turn right at the intersection and turn right at the next lights. If using GPS, the best address is 41 O’Connell Terrace, Bowen Hills.

Option 2 (Toll): Proceed onto the Pacific Motorway/M1 following the signs north to Brisbane. Follow Pacific Motorway and M3, take exit 4 towards M7/Clem Jones Tunnel/Brisbane Airport/Sunshine Coast and Continue onto M7. Take the State Route 15 exit. Keep left following signs for Bowen Bridge Road/State Route 15 and merge onto Bowen Bridge Road. Merge onto Bowen Bridge road, turn left onto Campbell Street the road around till you get to the T-intersection. Turn right at the intersection and turn right at the next lights. If using GPS, the best address is 41 O’Connell Terrace, Bowen Hills.

Driving from the North (eg Sunshine Coast, Bribie Island, Gympie, Bundaberg)

Proceed on to the M1 heading South towards Brisbane, then head towards Brisbane following the Gympie Arterial Road/M3. Continue on Gympie Road/A3 which will lead you onto the Lutwyche Road/A3. Keep right to continue on Bowen Bridge Road/State Route 15. Turn left onto Campbell Street and follow the road around till you get to the T-intersection. Turn right at the intersection and turn right at the next lights. If using GPS, the best address is 41 O’Connell Terrace, Bowen Hills.

Driving from the West (eg Ipswich, Toowoomba)

Proceed on the Cunningham Highway/National Highway 15 in Raceview from State Route 39. Continue on National Highway 15. Take M5 to Mount Coot Tha Road/Metroad 5 in Mount Coot-Tha. Take the exit for Mount Coot-Tha Road from M5. Proceed to Hale St/M3 in Milton. Follow M3 to Gilchrist Avenue in Herston. Take the Herston Road exit from M3. Take the Bowen Bridge Road/State Route 15. Take the Herston Road exit from M3. Stay on the left lane, follow the slip road which leads onto Bowen Bridge Road. Turn right at the third set of traffic lights onto Campbell Street and follow the road around till you get to the T-intersection. Turn right at the intersection and turn right at the next lights.
