Disabled Visitors

There is disabled access available throughout the venue with few exceptions. Disabled parking is available in the Brisbane Showgrounds off Gregory Terrace but is not unlimited. Disabled parking is also available in the secure parking on King Street.

Parking

BRISBANE SHOWGROUNDS (Main Arena)Enter off Gregory Terrace via entrance of Gate 3.  Cost is $15 per vehicle per day.  Cash or card at the carpark entry gate. Limited availability. This car park is expected to be full prior to 10am each day. An area has been left aside for disable parking in this area. Please advise the car park attendant of your needs upon arrival.  They will then direct you to the Disabled Parking area.

THE PAVILION (Upper Levels): Newly developed multi-storey carpark in the heart of the Brisbane Showgrounds. Enter off O’Connell Terrace.  450 carpark spaces. Cost is $15 per vehicle per day.  Cash or card upon entry. Limited availabilityAn area has been left aside for disabled parking in this area. Please follow the signs for the designated Disabled parking area. Carpark height is a maximum of 3.0 metres.

Hire Facilities

A limited number of wheelchairs and strollers are available for hire from the information booth. There is no cloakroom available on the grounds.

ATM

ATM’s are available at various locations throughout the event.

Catering Facilities

There will be catering outlets around the grounds . No two outlets have identical menus so if you cannot find what you want, it may be available at another outlet not too far away. We will have wide selection of catering available from chips and burgers to wraps and sandwiches and everything in between.

The new King Street foodie precinct is located just steps from the event. King Street offers a smorgasbord of foodie options from all over the world including Japanese, French and Bistro dinning to cater for all tastes. Click on the website for more: https://www.kingstreetbrisbane.com/play.

The newest bar offering on King Street, Welcome to Bowen Hills is an expansive indoor/outdoor space in the repurposed Dairy Hall and Sugar Court dedicated to seemingly endless supply of rotating food trucks and home to a permanent bar. Click on the website for more: https://www.wtbh.com.au/.

Rest Areas

Most catering outlets will have seating nearby, also there will be other seats around the grounds, some under cover and some outdoors.

First Aid/Emergency

We will have fully trained first aid personnel on standby throughout the whole duration of the event. Their location can be found on the map inside the Visitor Guide.

Rest Rooms/Parenting Rooms

Toilet facilities and Parent rooms are situated in several locations within the sale precinct. See the maps at the gate entrance and also in the visitor guide.
