COVIDSafe Visitor Information

The 2020 Let’s Go Brisbane Caravan & Outdoor Sale is operating under an approved Queensland Health COVID Safe Plan.

To help prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the community we ask that you DO NOT enter the event precinct if you have, in the last 14 days:

  • been overseas
  • been in a declared COVID-19 hotspot
  • been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19
  • are experiencing fever or symptoms of respiratory infection (cough, sore throat, shortness of breath)

Additionally:

  • Stay home if you are sick
  • Stay 1.5 metres away from other people who are not in your immediate family group – think two big steps
  • Get tested if you have any COVID-19 symptoms, no matter how mild
  • Practice Physical / Social Distancing while attending the seminars and other exhibits. Signs and floor markings will be present to assist in social distancing
  • Wash your hands with soap and water, or hand sanitizer. Hand Sanitiser stations will be available throughout the event and are identified by large visible signs.
  • Do not go near people if you are sneezing or coughing. Sneeze or cough into your arm or a tissue. Then put the tissue in the bin.
  • Do not shake hands, hug or kiss people
  • Do not touch your face, nose or eyes
  • Wear a face mask if that is your preference
  • Follow all directions of event and security staff whilst onsite
  • Do not abuse or be aggressive towards any of our our event staff or contractors. It will not be tolerated and may result in the offender being removed from the Showgrounds.
  • Follow the COVIDSafe measures provided by exhibitors including:
    o maximum capacity allowed on the stand at any one time
    o maximum capacity allowed in an RV at any one time
    o Follow the signs for designated entry/exit points
  • If you feel sick or experience COVID19 symptoms during the event, please notify a security or event staff immediately

Ticketing Process

To comply with Queensland Health’s Contact Tracing requirements tickets to this event are available for sale online only. There will be no tickets available for purchase at the gate however if you are unsure how to carry out an online ticket purchase we will have customer service attendants available to help you purchase a ticket using your own personal mobile device.

As per Queensland Health’s contact tracing requirements details must be recorded of each Adult, Concession Card Holder and Carers/Companion Card Holders who are attending the event. Children’s details can be added to the Parent/Guardian details at time of purchase. Information required will be your name, phone number, email address and physical address. If you are purchasing a ticket for another person you will have to advise these details also at time of purchase. This information will be stored in a secured and confidential manner by the event organisers for 56 days from the date of purchase.

Visitors agree that all contact information will be available to public health officers upon request. Visitors must either print their PDF ticket/s or ensure their ticket/s are available on their phones for scanning at the gate. Any visitors who haven’t purchased a ticket online before entering the event, will be required to purchase a ticket online before entering.

ALL Visitors will need to scan their ticket upon ENTRY and EXIT to the event as per requirements by our COVIDSafe Event Plan.

During the event

Please follow the directions of Security/Event staff. Regular announcements will be made using the PA system to remind all attendees to maintain social/physical distancing.

While you are attending our event stay COVIDSafe by:

  • Observe social/physical distancing at all times by keeping 1.5m away from anyone who is not in your immediate family group
  • Follow the COVIDSafe measures provided by exhibitors including:
    o  maximum capacity allowed on the stand at any one time
    o  maximum capacity allowed in an RV at any one time
    o  Follow the signs for designated entry/exit points
  • Wash/Sanitise your hands frequently. Hand Sanitiser stations will be available throughout the event and are identified by large visible signs
  • If you need to Cough or Sneeze, do so into your elbow or shoulder
  • You may wear a face mask if that is your preference
  • Follow all directions of event and security staff whilst onsite
  • Please practice Physical / Social Distancing while attending the seminars and other exhibits. Signs and floor markings will be present to assist in social distancing.
  • Any abuse or aggression directed at any of our staff or contractors will not be tolerated and you may be removed from the event
  • If you feel sick or experience COVID19 symptoms during the event, please notify a security or event staff immediately

Symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19)

The common symptoms of COVID-19 include a fever (a temperature higher than 37.5 degrees), a cough, sore throat, runny nose, fatigue, shortness of breath, loss of taste and loss of smell. Everyone who gets COVID-19 will experience it a little differently.

People who have extreme symptoms or side effects from the virus may take weeks or months to recover fully, while people with a mild illness may feel completely better within a week or two.

If you have any COVID-19 symptoms, no matter how mild, call your doctor or 13HEALTH (13 43 25 84) and get tested. Call emergency services on 000 if you are very sick.

Covid-19 FAQs

Is there a risk in attending an event?

Covid–19 is an infectious disease that can result in serious and potentially fatal illness. There is a risk of the transmission of Covid–19 in any environment where people gather. This risk increases in enclosed spaces and with increased numbers of people. The Australian Government Department of Health has advised that the elderly and those with underlying medical conditions are more vulnerable. What if I feel unwell or experience symptoms of COVID-19?

If you are feeling unwell or are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 when you are at the event, immediately notify gate or event staff and they will take to you to the isolation room where you will be looked after by a medical professional.

What if my event is cancelled or postponed due to Coronavirus COVID-19?

Should the event be cancelled due to a Queensland Health directive regarding COVID-19 your ticket price will be refunded.  The booking and handling fees, delivery cost and refund protection (if applicable) are services that are provided upon making your purchase and will not be refunded.  Any refund payable can only be made back to the credit card used in the original transaction.  There’s nothing you need to do. We’ll get in touch with you directly with more information.
