The Hervey Bay region stirs thoughts of whales, beaches, reef and islands.  It is the quintessential Queensland holiday destination for lovers of sand, sea and surf.

The region is swiftly gaining well-deserved global attention after the recent royal visit to Fraser Island, but there is still some quiet time to enjoy the region and create some magic family memories to last a lifetime.

Fraser Island

It’s impossible to talk about the region without first mentioning the world-heritage listed island.

Fraser Island is a family haven with many child-friendly activities including drifting along the current in Eli Creek, swimming in pristine Lake McKenzie and exploring the rainforest at Central Station.
