About the Association
The Caravan Trade & Industries Association of Queensland (CTIAQ) is the voice of the caravan, recreational vehicle, manufactured home and camping industry in Queensland.
Founded in 1964, membership is made up predominantly of retailers, manufacturers, hirers, repairers and suppliers in the caravan, recreational vehicle, camping and manufactured home industries.
On behalf of our members, we work closely with government & regulators, we develop & distribute valuable industry promotion and closely monitor industry public relations. Members are kept informed through regular newsletters & bulletins that feature relevant industry content and matters which impact the recreational vehicle industry.
With over 50 years’ experience in running Caravan & Recreational Vehicle Industry events, the association hosts Queensland’s only official industry trade shows each year.
The Queensland Caravan Industry Official Shows and Events
The Association is host to the only four Queensland industry official caravanning events which provide an excellent platform for industry associates to network, as well as to showcase latest and greatest in recreational vehicles and anything associated with outdoor activities.
These events collectively attract in excess of 90,000 consumers and create massive business opportunities for exhibitors, often making up a large percentage of annual revenue for our members.
As a member of the CTIAQ, certain benefits apply related to these events that are not available to non-member businesses.
These include, but are not limited to:
- Discounted square metre rates based on total area booked/occupied
- Preferential site / priority for space allocations
- Early notification of event application launch date
Advocacy
The Association has established valuable working relationships with all levels of government – local, state & federal.
Members are regularly consulted on issues relating to the caravan and recreational vehicle industry in Queensland. This enables us to provide valuable feed ack and conduct important lobbying to the highest levels of government, ensuring the Queensland Caravan & Recreational Vehicle Industry has a voice.
In addition, the CTIAQ works closely with the Caravan Industry Association of Australia on federal matters to ensure any regulations or laws are communicated to our members to support growth of safe caravanning in Queensland.
Identification
All CTIAQ members will have the opportunity to display the exclusive CTIAQ members plaque which will enhance your reputation amongst the caravanning industry in Queensland. This plaque shows the consumer that your business demonstrates integrity and the determination to follow the vision of the association.
Members also have exclusive use of the Caravanning Queensland logo which can be used throughout your business collateral. Displaying the logo gives customers the reassurance that you belong to Queensland’s Caravanning Industry and it’s association partners interstate.
Industry Partnerships
CTIAQ work closely with the Caravan Industry Association of Australia and our interstate ‘Sister’ Associations on a suite of industry related issues and projects.
As a CTIAQ member, you indirectly contribute to and therefore have access to information designed to assist Caravan & Recreational Vehicle Industry Businesses. This includes but is not limited to:
