Caravan Trade & Industries Association of Queensland

  • Members should at all times conduct their business in a dignified and honourable manner, acting fairly and honestly, maintaining the highest possible standard of service to Customers.
  • Members must ensure all products available for sale, whether Australian made or imported, comply in full with the appropriate Australian Design Rules and Australian Build Standards for which category they are manufactured.
  • Members should at all times foster and assist the development of the industry.
  • Members must not conduct their business in a manner which could potentially bring the CTIAQ or its membership into disrepute and must not speak disparagingly of the work or product of any other member.
  • A member’s dealings with employees should be honourable and in keeping with both State and Federal laws and regulations.
  • Members should not mislead Customers or the general public in their advertising and/or promotional activities and should not make unsubstantiated claims that are in any way contrary to law.
  • Members should provide Customers with accurate, honest and reliable information as to price, description and time of delivery of their products or services and not misrepresent their products or services.
  • Members should fulfil all contractual obligations, honour warranties, and act promptly where justifiable claims are made under the terms of Australian Consumer Law.
  • Members must at all times fully comply with all laws, statutory and regulatory requirements applicable to their business, products and services (including, without limitation, safety regulations).
  • Members will at all times act in an environmentally responsible manner, adhering to State and Federal legislation and regulations, in all business dealings.
  • A Member must take reasonable steps to prevent persons or businesses who are not members of the Association from representing themselves as a Member.
