Meet the winner of the 2020 Tidy Park Award Winner

2020 Tidy Park Award

Brisbane Holiday Village

Brisbane Holiday Village have strong processes and procedures to ensure that their park looks tidy every day of the year, from an early morning groundskeeper shift which starts with a lap of the park to pick up any rubbish, clean the bird feeding area, ensure that the mini golf and pool areas are clean and tidy and to ensure there are no overflowing bins through to clear park rules for residents to ensure that their sites remain clean and tidy.

The whole team at Brisbane Holiday Village is responsible for ensuring that the park looks good and they take great pride in the appearance of the park.

The judges were particularly impressed when they looked online at the various review sites and saw consistently high scores for the tidiness of this park over several years showcasing their long term commitment to having a tidy park.

When asked what advice they have for other parks the team at Brisbane Holiday Village said “Our advice for other park operators would be to create a positive work culture, where employees value maintaining the park in immaculate condition in both front and back of house areas, and to work together as a team to achieve this goal daily. Employees are integral to the success of any business, so it is important to empower your staff to make an impact in your park!”

If you ever have the chance drop by and check out Brisbane Holiday Village, I know Ken, Geoff and the team would love to show off their park
