With a customer first focus and friendly smiles, the team go above and beyond to meet their guests’ needs and expectations, from the moment they book, to the moment they leave.
The team consistently show their genuine caring nature, and always put their guests first by helping out whenever they are needed.
A recent example of this was when New Zealand based Fred, who was travelling throughout Australia alone in his motorhome, needed major eye surgery.
Booked in and ready for day surgery, the clinic would not allow the procedure to go ahead if there was no one there to pick him up. Kerri stepped up and offered to help out.
She sat patiently through his discharge, took him back to his motorhome, and made sure he was comfortable. She then headed into the town pharmacy to fill his required prescription. She continued to check on him again that evening, and twice daily while he recovered for four days. Fred returned home to New Zealand and couldn’t thank the team enough.
When asked for some advice for other park operators the Jolly Swagman Team said “Be a beacon of light when someone is struggling. Whether it’s doing something as small as printing out school holiday homework, to accommodating four dogs or parking vehicles. It’s the little things that make a big difference.”
In awarding the 2020 Outstanding Host Award we would like to make special note of Kerri and Brad who are the back bone of this park, they have a wonderful way with their guests which sees them forming strong connections with guests, who return frequently, and speak highly of them to a number of people.
