If you love learning about Australia’s Bush history, and RM Williams, you’ll love the bi-annual Eidsvold Bush Spirit Festival.

The festival will be held on 1 June at the RM Williams Australian Bush Learning Centre in Eidsvold and promotes bush culture and craft through live shows, demonstrations, markets and competitions for the whole family.

Held by the Friends of RM, the festival celebrates bush life and the spirit of RM Williams himself.  You can join in the fun by entering the Whip Cracking competition, watch the Blue Gum Farm Kids show, leather work or silversmithing demonstrations, or simply relax and listen to some traditional bush poetry over a camp oven lunch and billy tea.

The RM Williams Australian Bush Learning Centre showcases the life and skills of RM Williams, bringing to life his love the Australian Bush and his passion for living on the land.  The Centre holds an exhibit dedicated to the great man himself and a gallery that features new work bimonthly.

The RM Williams Australian Bush Learning Centre is located on the Gayndah-Monto Rd, in the town of Eidsvold, 165km west of Bundaberg, or 425km north of Brisbane.

There are many great accommodation options in the region, so why not head over to the Caravanning Queensland Find a Park page and find a great place to stay with a warm, spirit-of-the-bush welcome.
